The challenge phase aims to test the trader's ability. There are 2 steps in the challenge phase:

- The first step is that you must achieve a profit target of 10% within 4 weeks without breaking any rules.

- The second step is that you must achieve the same profit target (10%) within 8 weeks without breaking any rules.

After you pass the challenge phase, you will enter the verification phase.

The PropTradar team will take up to 5 business days to review your trading performance and issue you a certificate as a funded trader.

You will receive a certificate and information regarding how to pay the deposit in approximately 5 working days.

Once we receive your deposit, your account will be set up immediately. Your credential data will be sent to your registered email, please keep your login credentials secure and ensure that no one other than you is authorized to access them.

To meet this goal, you must trade for at least 10 days in 1 month and have at least 30 total trades executed. If you have achieved your profit goal in less trading time, we still require a minimum of 10 trading days or 30 trades to assess your track record and sustainability of your trading skills.

Drawdown violations are based on equity. The maximum daily loss is 5% from the first step challenge to the second step challenge, calculated based on your initial balance at 12:00 AM UTC. When you start live trading on a funded account, you will get a new account and start calculating the maximum daily loss limit of 5% of the initial balance at 12:00 AM UTC and the maximum loss limit of 10% of the initial balance at 12:00 AM UTC.

Yes, your account will be deactivated if you do not make any transactions for the past 90 days. You will receive an inactivity reminder email after 60 days, and after 90 days, you will receive an email notifying you of your account deactivation.

To minimize the possibility of misclicks, we have set a 30-second rule for trading transactions with the same volume and price are not allowed within 30 seconds. Profits earned from this duration will be deducted from the trader's profit and loss calculation.

Trading is different from gambling. Trading must have a strategy, know the market conditions, update the latest news, not just rely on luck. Therefore, a funded account must be used by a trader for trading purposes by considering the risk factors that the trader is ready to take.

We know that it is common practice in the prop industry to increase risk on a winning or losing streak. This practice is risky and can be considered gambling. We require our traders to implement consistent position sizing that enforces the principles of continues execution and discipline for our traders.

As a prop firm, we want our equity curve to be as smooth as possible. Having large swings due to one bad trade idea is an unnecessary risk that can be avoided. While going “all in” on a trade can go well, it can also go terribly wrong.

We do not allow the use of programs or algorithms to conduct short-term trading transactions. However, we do not rule out the possibility of discussing or working together in creating algorithms in other forms of cooperation. Please contact Customer Service for more information.

Yes. We review account performance every business day. So, if you violated any rules yesterday, we will update your account status the next day. We will review your account promptly, and you can expect a response from us in approximately 1-2 business days.

Of course, we hope to cooperate well with all our traders to achieve the common goal of making huge profits. If you violate any of the Trading Objectives, your account will be automatically inactive and will no longer be eligible to continue the challenge process. If the violation occurs on your PropTradar account, the relevant PropTradar Account Agreement will be terminated. However, if you want to become a Trader, you can always start over and order a new PropTradar challenge account. Please note that there is no discount for repeat attempts. It is important to comply with the rules and trade safely to avoid any violations.

No, you are not required to close your positions overnight. You are allowed to keep your positions open overnight and even on weekends. However, please note that you should monitor your positions to avoid breaking trading rules.

It is entirely up to you, as long as you follow good risk management. However, please be mindful to calculate the drawdown percentage. Example: If you open 2 trades with a risk of 3% each, and both lose on the same day, your account will be down by 6%. This will violate the daily drawdown rule and can result in losses to your account.

All PropTradar traders start with a profit share of 70%. With the scaling plan, they can increase their profit share to 80% after 6 months of trading a funded account, and to 90% after another 6 months.
